Enc 2135 first project of the semester

To get a better understanding of this project, we need to make sure we have a strong background of the community that will be pick and any details, from the big ones to the small ones that need to be touched on throughout the essay. The hardest thing about this project is coming up with an idea, however there are ways to make the process easier. Reading, talking to others and writing down ideas are just some ways to get the brainstorm going. The topic that is picked should be topic that is enjoyable to research and spending time on. It doesn't hurt to put ideas together with others and ultimately find the topic that is the best fit.
A take away from the section I summarized is that this is an individual project and what works for my friend, won't mean that it will work for me. This project will take time and coming up with an idea that I'm passionate about can help the process go a lot smoother. The best way to choose a topic in my opinion is reading. Reading up on a subject can help find more details about it if you are familiar with the topic or learn something comletely new if you don't know much about it. To avoid choosing a topic you already know the answer to see how many friends you have in that community and calculate how much time is spent in that community.
As far as my process of choosing a community, I know that i want to write about sports, but I am not sure which aspect I want to write it in.
